FunFair Stall

The Fun Fair held in our residential complex on last Sunday was crowded, tiring and busy. But above all it was Super fun. It is satisfying to be able to create an atmosphere of fun and laughter in the otherwise routinely busy schedules of everyone around us.

It was a humble beginning with one of the ladies putting forth the idea of holding such a fair. From there on, it was about holding a meeting for all interested residents to give in their inputs on the "when" and "hows". Then there were notices about calling residents to put up stalls and then about the kind of stalls being put up. And before we knew it, we were organizing an event for residents in our complex. Some more huddles to discuss ideas and some delegations and we were set.

On D-day we helped with putting up decorations and lighting and organized the stalls so that there were no blank spaces or hindrances for anyone. I had come up with a stall of Goodies for sale and a game of Lucky Dip. Here's the pics:

And the stall was a success :-) Happy that the children loved the game and played it in good spirit and a lot of items on sale were indeed of use to many.

And then there was the Astronaut in a bermuda - taking off for space.

The Fun Fair was really just that - a "Fun" place.
